BBQ Pepper Steak Sandwich

Ingredients

8 x 80g beef fillets or 4 minute steaks

3 tsp Providore’s Pepper Steak Seasoning

4 slices sourdough or thick crusty bread

4 medium sized flat mushrooms

Olive oil for grilling

Fresh rocket leaves
-
1/2 cup Providore Onion and thyme marmalade

4 tbs Providore Spicy Shiraz sauce, warmed slightly
Directions
Place beef or venison fillets into a bowl, sprinkle over Providore’s Pepper Steak Seasoning and massage into the meat.
Allow to marinate for 10 mins. Fire up the BBQ plate to high. Brush mushrooms with olive oil, season and grill on each side for a few minutes until soft.
Set aside. Toast bread on the bbq on one side. Brush the untoasted side with olive oil and set aside.
Brush the steaks with olive oil and cook on the bbq to your liking, set aside with mushrooms.
Toast the other side of your bread and assemble steak sandwich with onions on the base, followed by mushrooms, beef and fresh rocket, drizzle spicy Shiraz sauce over the top and serve.
