• Farmhouse Chicken Pie Seasoning 100g



    • 1kg diced chicken thigh
    • 25g Farmhouse Chicken Pie Mix
    • 1 carrot, diced
    • 2 leeks, finely sliced
    • 2 garlic cloves, finely sliced
    • ½ onion brown, finely diced
    • ¼ cup plain flour
    • 250mls milk
    • 2Tbs butter
    • ½ a pinch each dried sage, rosemary and thyme 


    Cut chicken pieces into equal pieces and toss through Providore’s Farmhouse Chicken Pie Seasoning. Brown off veg in a pan until soft, put aside in a bowl. Repeat with the chicken using the same pan, deglaze with Providore's Chardonnay Verjuice or white wine. In a large pot slowly melt the butter, when melted add the flour and stir well. Add the milk to make a white sauce, season. Add veg, chicken and dried herbs to the milk mix. Simmer until chicken is cooked, stirring often. Place the cold chicken mix into a prepared pie base and cook until golden brown.
