Guide to the Good Life filming at Providore
New national lifestyle program, Guide to the Good life came to Providore this week to film a segment for their next series. They stayed at Cape Lodge and were accompanied by acclaimed Cape Lodge chef Tony Howell. Presenter, Nicky Buckley fell in love with Providore. First stop was our tasting benches and after sampling our jams and preserves she declared the Beetroot and Orange Relish and the Rhubarb and Raspberry jam her favourites.
Then it was off to the garden to collect some fresh organic vegetables and herbs and to the verandah to taste some of our new season's Verjuice and some of our amazing organic olive oil that we had just harvested and pressed the week before. They stayed for 3 hours filming in the garden and the kitchen and the restaurant and left loaded up with goodies to take back home including a basket of organic vegetables that Tony was going to prepare for their dinner.
It was great to meet the delightful Nicky Buckley. As co-host on Channel 9’s Sale of the Century, she became one of Australia’s most recognised female faces and a much-loved household name. Since her time on Sale of the Century, Nicky went on to become a regular presenter on television and radio, including the host of Channel 9’s Talk to the Animals and a regular guest host on radio stations including Triple M and Fox FM.

It was a perfect Autumn day to be strolling through the organic vegetable garden.
A unique experience. Tasting fresh organic olive oil, picked and pressed that same week.
